to move on. I understand it is kind of par for the course with a coaching change in our new world.
But as a fan it makes me less engaged. I have equity built up with players and even long time recruits. Then when these guys were 100% committed to BYU and what we are all about it hurts more.
Matt Haarms was kind of a good example of that. I liked Matt and he was a heck of a player for BYU. But the mercenary type of player just isn't remembered like a guy such as Yoeli who stayed for four years. That isn't to dissuade any player from staying or going, but it just makes me less excited and less interested in the team.
