Just saw an article saying that the Porto Alegre Airport will likely be closed until at least September.

They evacuated us to São Paulo and I anticipate being here at least a month. (Fun two days driving with the families of colleagues with 3 and 6 year old girls in the 10 passenger van - only a few meltdowns along the way)

Hopefully we’ll be able to go back soon. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, leaving people behind in such awful circumstances.
