While his wife was using the restroom, my friend pulled the doctor aside and said, "Hey, Doc, my wife and I have been very diligent in using protection and never had any 'issues' with it. How do things like this even happen?"

The doctor thought about this and said, "Young man, let me tell you a story. There was once a hunter who always carried a gun wherever he went. One day by mistake he packed his umbrella instead of his gun and went hunting. A lion suddenly attacked him. In order to scare the lion, the hunter used his umbrella like a gun. There was a loud bang, and the lion died! What do you think happened to the lion?"

My friend thought about this and answered, "Someone else must have shot the lion."

The doctor patted my friend's shoulder sadly. "Exactly."
