can I ask CB for their fasting and prayers for my best friend and his family?
my best friend, his son, a nephew and a co-worker went fishing out of Seward, Alaska Tuesday morning and while out saw the weather turn rough and make it too difficult for them to make it back to port. I'm guessing maybe they tried to find a sheltering cove to hunker down and wait out the storm (they were in a 21' aluminum boat). The winds hit 30 mph and 12 ft waves. Wednesday morning 5:30am they sent out a distress signal that they were taking on water. The Coast Guard put out a call to all vessels in the area to be on the lookout for them. A few hours later a glacier cruise vessel saw debris in the water including a life jacket. Not far from that they saw a body floating in the water (my friend's nephew) but no signs of anyone else. The boat had capsized and was partially submerged. Through the rest of Wednesday and into Thurs Air Search and Rescue and several marine vessels scoured a 95 sq mile area looking to see if they could find survivors (Including maybe the chance some had made it to shore in the frigid water). They called off the search yesterday but it sounds like the family is working with the CG today to see about continuing the effort with hopes that maybe they are on land somewhere. It's really remote, mountainous area full of glaciers so no way they could travel across land very easily.

In that slight chance there are survivors please include Josh Green and his family in your prayers as well as anyone involved in the search effort. Josh is a BYU-HI grad (wrestled at Ricks also) and served in the UT-SLC North mission.
