My first thought was how much explosive diarrhea do people really have. I can only count maybe 1 or 2 times in my life but then it occurred to me. Being that one only uses an outhouse when they have to and are out of options, then that would mean outhouses are probably the site of a disproportionate amount of explosive diarrhea episodes.
