A couple of these guys had trouble getting on the field over their careers at their respective schools, so we shouldn't be excited about them like we would with some 4 star HS recruit coming in. But these late transfers aren't taking the place of a highly rated recruit. They are taking the place of some walk-ons who would otherwise get a spot on the roster, and scholarships that would otherwise have been given to some of the walk-ons already on the team.
While I think giving walk-ons a chance is good overall for program depth, this move will definitely enhance the athleticism of our backups, which will be a good thing if and when injuries force Bronco to go deep into the roster to field a team.
