Bogut shouldn't have been the first pick
but he has had a solid NBA career and if you are redrafting the 2005 draft, he is still atop 5 pick and arguably the 3rd pick.

It wasn't that McGill couldn't cut it in the NBA

I agree that doesn't disqualify him. I was responded to the comment

Bogut is at least bottom 3 #1 picks in the last 14 years.

#1 picks since 2000?

Statistically Bargnani and Bogut are probably a wash.

Also with the benefit of hindsight, where should Araujo gone in the 2004 draft?

Bennett, Oden and Kwame all worse

Bradley's status as a bust is vastly overstated
CoopDizz
4/16/14 9:51am
I agree, he doesn't belong on that list.

4/16/14 9:55am
Exactly. Busts don't last in the NBA for 12 years (69 games/year).

Was going to say that. A guy in the league for 14 years. Not a bust.

If a list includes Bradley, then it should also include Keith Van Horn.

4/16/14 10:01am
Yeah but he was on the cover of NBA Jam '99

4/16/14 10:02am
Except that Van Horn had a much better NBA career

I generally like Van Horn, and didn't realize he had a season he averaged 20+ppg

KVH had a good NBA career; definitely not a bust.
