This is correct. It was meant to be more tongue-in-cheek

Meaning. . .in reality we have the capacity to schedule the better MWC teams without having to deal with the dregs. Just like we have to prove to the Big12 that We add more value than we take.

The MWC would have to prove that they would add to what BYU already gets, without taking away what we already have.
