You're probably looking at $3k-6k up front plus about $700 per year, every year.
That amount should give you 10,000 credits, which is enough for a very nice (but not elegant/ritzy), fully stocked 2-bedroom condo for a week every year that will sleep 6 (sometimes 8 in certain locations), but you need to book it well in advance (12 or 13 months). It will also give you access to buy additional days for very cheap ($40-80/night) with a few weeks notice when space is available. It's not the same location (unless you want it to be) - you make a reservation at the location you choose for the following year.
Locations in Utah are in St George, Midway, Wolf Creek (Eden, UT), and Bear Lake. In Idaho there are Worldmark locations in McCall and in Coeur d'Alene. In Colorado you can choose from Granby, Steamboat Springs, Estes Park, and a couple others in the south. My family likes to go to the Oregon or Washington coast locations. We have a reservation for Vancouver, BC next summer.
Check out worldmarktheclub for details on the units/locations. wmowners.com for details of buying resale. The key is to NOT buy from Worldmark. Buy resale and save about 70-80-percent, but you need to come up with the cash up front.
