The goal of every team is to be able to get a good pass rush out of their base, and many do. Yes, they may use slants and stunts and zone blitz's...which isn't a true blitz because you rush from a different position and drop a DL into coverage.
From an offensive standpoint, yes...yes you would like to think your 5 can handle their 4. Obviously it's not that easy. It's why pass rushers are so valuable in the NFL.
At any rate, the big discussion point since the game was that UCONN dropped 8 on almost every play. They didn't. Most plays they rushed their base or added blitzers to the package and our OL held up.
