Both can run outside, but only one can run inside if there's only a sliver of a hole. JSwag runs with power, leverage and a lot of tenacity. That sliver of a hole that might only give Hine two yards might give JSwag 5...or 8...or even more depending on what's waiting on the other side. People sometimes forget how well JSwag ran against Texas last year. We had almost 300 yards rushing...outside of Taysom. JSwag brings something that no other back brings.
We won't run for 550...but if we can run for 200 like we did Friday, which I absolutely think is in the cards...and if Hill can pass close to the way he did...which I absolutely think he can, then Texas has a very balance attack they have to stop. They won't stop both...and if they can't stop both it probably means they don't completely stop either.
We'll have to work to sustain drives. So will they. We really have to limit mistakes, especially turnovers. So will they. Honestly, this game probably comes down to the team that is able to play with the most fire without losing composure. We have some work in that regard, especially with the foolish personal fouls on defense (and Mathews for that matter). But having seen both teams, and knowing what they brought back, I feel very good about us going in there and coming out with a W. We are better at the one key position, QB. It was enough last year. I think it will be enough this year as well.
