And early bronco years because my dad cared enough to teach me about byu and take me to games. Make sure you do everything you can to nurture your sons support of the team.
Im 23 live in salt lake county and I got to grow up and watch most of my friends become bandwagon Utah fans and ute diehards. I bought into the comments last year that bronco would make my life easier, well that didn't happen and now this year uppity Aggie fans are mixed in with the Utah hopeful who get to give me crap.
Now I'll never stop loving byu, but man it sucks to have the program be irrelevant in a time when we desperately need it not to be so. For me personally I never got to experience the golden era of byu football. When I was born Ty had already won the Heisman, and in 1996 I was 5 and had other things on my mind besides football. I remember Doman and Staley but I didn't follow the team then like I do now. So all I've had is hope for greatness and old replays of great games that had meaning.
I'm just sick and tired of there's always next year and losing to crappy MWC teams and having our team break their collective ankles all while blowing huge leads because our DC can't coach his players to do things right and to victory.Sorry for posting my sad sap crap here I'm just frustrated and this seemed more appropriate than creating my own thread.
