It is my opinion that the bigger issue, of which you speak, with the Pac 12, is not just Religion, the the Religious School in Utah, interfering with California Politics, i.e. Prop 8, which back fired on them because not only was that election overturned by the courts, that our religion interfered with, but now, the entire United States must be affected by that court reversal.

Do we want to be political or do we want to play football?

Do we want to promote Fireside Chats or get into a P5 conference?

Do we want to show ourselves as being a serious contender focused on playing the big boys tough, in the P5 conferences, or do we want to spread ourselves too thin to be desirable to any P5 conference by wanting just as much to use Football as a means of something other than just bringing honor to our University through being a great, focused, respected team among the best teams in the Nation?
