This may be a critical point in any negotiations and if BYU is addressing sensitive topics (i.e. LGBTQ, HC, title IX, etc) it is best to keep leaks out of the media. I would guarantee BYU, and the Church, want to make sure these things are handled with one voice and information about any announcements, modifications to policy, or rewording of things like the HC remain absolutely private until finalized.

I know we want updates, but at this point we need to let TH, President Worthen, and the BOT do their jobs. I think that is probably the point of view of most of our inside sources. Right now the best thing we can do is blast social media with the positives about BYU, counter negative perceptions, and be optimistic. Showing our fan base has a loud and clear voice will certainly put some public pressure on the media and Big 12.
