They moved guys around because you LOST your new starting C after previously losing the last one to graduation, meaning the depth was weak and had to accommodate for THAT. Maybe if you were talking to people who had no clue what was going on at Utah. Plenty of CB knows what's up. It was a good attempt though because at least Bolles should be good.
Despite Williams having starting experience, no Ute fan would dare to discount the Booker loss. And as much as Utah fans want to so easily put Wilson behind them like he was nothing, he was also responsible for quite the chunk of rushing production, yards and TDs.
Not only are Covey and Scott gone, but the #3 guy in receiving, back to Booker. And Fulks is not the only one who is an unknown. Basically the whole WR crew is. So Utah is really desperate for some guys to step up. I'm sure someone will. It's football. But they need a bunch of guys to do it. Luckily there's Handley.
And I must say, if all you're hoping for is output from the few games without Booker, you're really setting the bar low and the Ute offense by by that measure will absolutely not be better than last year. A few losses where the offense really had some big struggles, and two wins where they weren't all that impressive either. That's a really bad benchmark. You give me confidence if that's the hope.
