Interesting that last year's lines pretty much played each other evenly in Vegas
Both DLs gave the opposing offense trouble. Before Tuiloma was hurt, the Utes could not do anything on the ground. Utah was slightly more physical and had better depth. But the dominance that Ute's had been claiming wasn't evident on the field. The lines were very close.

Utah has one of the elite D lines in the entire nation. Their O line is solid. Could they be better at each position? Maybe. I doubt it, but maybe. The greater point is that, in the very last game these two teams played, there was not much difference in the trenches.

We lost our best player, Kaufusi, and a good player in Ryker Matthews. That's it. Not sure what Utah lost. Unless something changed dramatically, I have a hard time seeing that Utah is that much better.

What has changed significantly is what both teams have in their offensive backfields. Utah lost Booker and a 3 year starter at QB. BYU gained Hill and Jamaal. Big, big swing there.
