A little patience with our coaching staff will pay big dividends down the road. There is ZERO reason for pessimism as far as the coaching staff is concerned. They've been very good this season, and they're just getting started.
We're going to end up with anywhere from 7 to 9 wins on the season - a season with an extremely difficult schedule (certainly a big step up from historical BYU schedules) and with an entire new coaching staff and new systems on both sides of the ball. Bronco took just about everybody and everything with him to UVA. This staff had to start completely from scratch. Given all that, 7 to 9 wins should be considered a successful season. If we get to 9 wins, I'd call that a very successful season, and a big step in the right direction.
