for the run game. It was easier to pounce on the run game last year because they knew that's what BYU was. If there's actually a passing threat, it will make things easier in the run game and you don't "NEED" a Jamaal. Plus returning 4 starters on the OL who have been in the system, not to mention the RBs themselves. I think people will quit expecting "subpar" once they stop making comparisons to Jamaal. Don't have to be Jamaal to still have a good run game.
