Utah has shown that they're willing to spend more than a lot of other schools on coaches. BYU has shown a lot of financial restraint. That's not a bad thing, bit it does mean we're probably not going to go as high on coaching salaries as they do.

More importantly, Jay Hill is very much a Ute. Lots of reports out there that his dream job is Utah Head Coach. He played at Utah, he coached a decade-plus at Utah. If the situations, money, position etc were the exact same at the two schools, he'd likely lean Utah just based on his history

We have some advantage in that we're building a relationship with him now, but he has a lot of important connections to Utah
