I know it’s hard to tell a lot from a trailer, but the tone of the trailer seemed off. In the book they definitely used subterfuge and surprise to defeat bigger and better equipped forces. But the trailer makes them appear as if they were maniacs with a bloodlust. Perhaps that’s not borne out in the full movie but Lassen’s derring do approach seems much more due to a commitment to the cause and his men and a sheer rejection of fear and personal safety than from some maniacal bloodthirst.
