been spoiled by the "Premium streaming mini-series". This feels exactly like the kind of story that would have been amazing as an 8-episode amazon series. Would have allowed us some backstory and development for the characters. I would have loved to spend some more time in Fernando Po. There's a great "Casablanca" vibe going on, and it seems like you could get some great stuff out of Herron interacting with the armies from all of the different countries operating there. I also would have liked to get some more time with the whole crew led by Kambili.

It was okay as a movie, it just left me wanting so much more.
