I like a more varied drive and don’t mind finding space and passing.

I actually like that more than just cruising through the desert. And it’s been significantly faster for me the way I drive.

Your route is also safer.

Different strokes for different folks.

No, going 89 is faster. It is faster on Google Maps and faster in real life.

89 route is 30 minutes to an hour faster depending on a couple of factors but it is still the fastest route.
