I see where you are coming from and I would agree with you if this was his first offense and was a very minor one. However there comes a time when you have to say enough it enough no matter what the consequences are.
How about if Bronco let JJ play and JJ kept doing those things and ended up having to get kicked out of school, and we ended up having a huge issue with something that brings huge embarrassment to both BYU and JJ? Would you still be ok with Bronco allowing JJ to play in his so called homecoming?
That is why I won't say that this is all on Bronco. The fact of the matter is that JJ did break some kind of rule and that is all we know. I am not saying we shouldn't feel bad for JJ as I do totally and understand. But unless you have direct knowledge of everything that has happened you can't blame Bronco.
