Came at a very unfortunate time, actually, the worst time possible. It would have been easy to throw some other type of punishment at him and still allow him to play. But rules is rules. They signed the dotted line and knew them.

As a side note I was very impressed with BD during that time, great guy. And I obviously know the coaches were different in these situations, but same type of thing. It's too bad that JJ won't be at his homecoming.
