Lets be honest: Do we really think the football team deserves to be ranked 20th in the nation? They play one of the weakest schedules in the nation and lately, they've had to work hard to beat unranked teams. The teams they've beaten have a combined record of 6 and 9 and definitely not gonna crack the top 25 anytime soon. The future schedule doesn't look any better... Middle Tennessee State and Savannah State? Middle Tennessee beat Savannah State 61-7 earlier this season and Middle Tennessee isn't even that good. Is winning (and possibly going undefeated) against such a weak schedule really saying anything about how good the football team is? I am concerned that if they do make a bowl (especially a BCS bowl), the cougars are in for a VERY tough challenge they haven't seen all season which brings me to my next point: Do they really deserve a spot in a (BCS) bowl? I saw someone on here saying they might be lined up against Stanford for the Fiesta Bowl... My feeling is that playing a really easy schedule for the season then lining up against Stanford for a Bowl like that could be a catastrophe...

I have another point of discussion: Do people honestly think Hill could win the Heisman? In his first three games, he threw 3 interceptions against unranked defenses that had a combined record of 3 and 6. Compared to Marcus Mariota and other front runners for the Heisman, I don't really think Hill has a chance (partially because of their weak schedule). Don't get me wrong, he's one heck of an athlete and he shows it with his running ability, but personally I just don't think Heisman material...


I'm not trying to be a downer about either things that I said, i just wanna have my eyes opened by other's perspectives. What do you all think?
