completely agree. it's an issue that seems to get greater every time i return to
utah. and it's really frustrating.

of course, the no-mo's don't like to realize that they play a major part in the issue. i love it when someone tells me that they're ostracized from the mormon community, yet when they get asked to come to one of the activities that they're complaining about, they scream, "stop trying to convert me!".

my kids have it far easier than i did growing up in utah. i lost friends because i adhered to the word of wisdom. i got crap all the time for being a legit mormon. outside of utah? in the army? respect. protection. never once have a been persecuted in any way. complete opposite in utah.

and it isn't a complex, friends. it's the way utah has gone. it's ok to be a jerk towards mormons while you're in utah.
