I think as members of the church we can do much better at trying
to include those not of our faith - I don't think we realize we do it because, if we grew up here, the church and our social circle are usually one in the same. We also don't think to include those outside our faith because we assume (wrong or right) that they don't WANT to be involved.

That said, those who are not LDS here many time wrongly mistake not being included as hate and isolation. They assume they are being outcast on purpose - when in reality we just naturally become friends most times with those we are around a lot and have much in common with. Or, if they move here, they can come in with the mindset that they are going to be excluded - and so they attribute any perceived slight as the cause of that.

Both sides could do a lot better in this area.
