grew up in Utah and they feel that they were mistreated and isolated by Mormons growing up. Their anger towards the church is just below the surface and it often bubbles up. I find myself tactfully defending the church almost every day. It would be a good idea for church leaders to address this issue more often. Believe it or not, I see very little of this Mormon hatred at Rice Eccles. BYU games at RES once every 3 or 4 years is the only exception.
