...I will say that you would have to think that many G5 schools would be seeking entrance into the Big12. The Big12 has not come out and said that they will only be looking at a specific list of schools (although the hired consulting firm was probably given such a list). So I would imagine that presidents and athletic directors from all sorts of schools would seek to be considered. Sort of like a job interview for a great position with a great company. Not sure how the Big12 responds to the applicants like a USU that would seeming not have a shot, but I suppose that they are getting nagged from many similar schools.
