Vacations would be much easier if my family liked camping.
First of all, it is so much cheaper. You'll need to invest in some good equipment upfront but it can be used for years.
Second, you don't have to fight crowds. I can go camping for a few hundred bucks vs the thousands it costs to do to Disneyland.

To me this isn't camping. Camping is hiking 4 miles to get to your campsite. That's just what I grew up with though
