You will see trailers and tents everywhere. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of places to camp along the front of the reef, behind the reef and all along the roads that go through the reef, especially the little wild horse road. The campground in the park is small but is fun because it is so close to the valley and has a paved road for my kids to ride scooters on as well as flush toilets, showers, and running water. It also has some fun little side canyons to play in. It does fill up well in advance. The one thing to know about the whole area is that there is no shade anywhere. Take shade and go during spring and fall. We'll be down there next month for 3 days in the campground. It's all my 5 year old wanted for his birthday.
