The difference between what men and women do on any field of play is exponentially different. The worst mens college basketball team in the country would annihilate any WNBA team. But its ok. If there is a market for Women's sports, then by all means, it should happen. As a father of two daughters I am all for the greater opportunities that young women have in sports, but the money will NEVER be the same, because money is driven by fan interest, and most people would rather watch men play sports than women.

It is why that stupid show "Pitch" was canceled after just one season. No one cares.

Mens World Cup soccer earns roughly 10 times what the women's world cup earns. It is why I laughed when I heard the USWNT complaining and threatening to sit out games because they felt they should get the same money the men do. In just like any sport the men's version is just a better prodcut to watch and TV ratings consistently show it.

Its why despite the fact that the USWNT is one of the top in the world but their womnens' soccer league has no support, while the MLS has built up a pretty good product.
