This is my problem with the whole situation.....I know what bernard did....and it's happened twice. He was given a second chance and he messed up again. I think the punishment fits the mistakes he made. I know athletes and other students that have been kicked out of BYU for doing less in my opinion. I know many athletes and students that were suspended or had to leave school and then came back and finished their athletic/academic careers at byu...they finished what they started. I have very close family members that got in trouble with the honor code and some were even kicked out....BYU isn't perfect, the honor code office isn't perfect and in fact they do make mistakes...but I honestly think people are trying to do their best.
