^^This is a bit of a fallacy. BYU has always been a place for OJT.
I can’t remember one coach of basketball or football who was hired with significant major D-1 head coaching experience.
Not Lavell, not Crowton, not Bronco, not Kalani, not Reid, not Cleveland, not Rose.
