You aren’t wrong, but being a P5 isn’t about money. It’s about access.
The P5 are designated as such because they have automatic access to the NY6. They also make more money, but even within the P5 there is an enormous disparity with how much money everyone pulls in.
The financial difference between Alabama and Boston College is greater than the financial difference between BC and UCONN.
