Went in Jan w/ 4 kids (14,13,8,5)
What was great:
- ATVs at Kualoa - an absolute blast
- Aulani
- Fresh Malasada’s at Leonard’s
- Burgers & fish at Seven Brothers
- Smoothies at Wailua Bakery
- Pearl Harbor
- Walking around the temple
- Whales & tide pools at Keawaula Beach
- Matsumoto’s
- Shakes at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers
- Atmosphere at Haleiwa Joe’s - some of the food was great, some just ok
- Hale’iwa
What was not great:
- PCC - just didn’t do it for my group
- Boat tours - took off from the north shore, everyone got sea sick with the rough seas
- Food at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers
- Lanikai Beach - normally love it but was SUPER crowded, better & less crowded beaches elsewhere
- Makapu’u Point Lighthouse Trail - too much for my youngest ones
- Island Country Markets in Ko Olina - avoid the garlic shrimp, other better options
My kids can’t wait to go back.
