fans forget that for the players, it's real life
this is why fans cannot grasp why someone like rob gronkowski could possibly go out and dance the night the pats lost the super bowl. it's why people get upset when someone like lane kiffin leaves his job for his dream job, one that has only been available three times in about 50 years, even though normal people do the same thing all of the time.

players dislike each other on the field, but when they're off the field, it's not a big deal.

fans get way too serious about this stuff. it really isn't a big deal.
