They aren't remotely comparable and the American Academy of Pediatrics

They have waffled back and forth over the years but the same things are argued on both sides. Here are the facts:
1. It is purely elective and kids can be fine either way
2. Circumcision leads to easier cleanliness
My opinion, either decision is fine.
