Giving an instant "vote" sometimes doesn't mean much thought was put into to such a vote to begin with. Additionally, it may promote less contrarian ideas (respectful Utes sharing thoughts/opinions) which over time I don't think is good for the board.

I can't count how many replies I've ended up trashing because half way through such a reply, I realize my thought was redundant, didn't make sense, would do nothing but create contention, was probably ridiculous, (insert additional reasons here)... I down vote this enhancement...
