I own a traeger and love it, but saw a green mountain grill at the Reno Rib Fest last year and thought it looked better than my Traeger. You may also want to consider cooking a tri-tip.

Honestly, tri-tip is better and SO much easier.

It's a short cook (50 min) so anything is fine.

I have smoked tri-tip for 5 hours or so and it was delicious as well.

I typically smoke tri tip for an hour....then slow cook for another 2 hrs

Completely different Tritip is usually cooked by grilling

Ribs are good, Pulled Pork with a bone in pork shoulder is really good.

Go with a pork butt instead of ribs. Easier and less technique
