Completely different Tritip is usually cooked by grilling
Similar to a steak and is usually done to medium rare. Think a nice quality MEd rare steak. I'd agree with KC it's my favorite cut if beef.

Brisket is usually smoked low and slow, with a nice smokey tender pull apart with your fingers consistency. Think a slow roasted chuck roast but with more flavor.
