The bowl practices can be valuable for younger players.
Coaches that barely make a bowl point to the main benefit as the extra practice.
Maybe it doesn't cost us our bowl, but what if it could give just enough boost to someone who might contribute in next years opener.
Maybe that is what cost us against freaking Virginia.
