How would college sports change if a losing team was allowed to
test every (or any) member of the winning team with playing time for inappropriate substances? Obviously, the team requiring the tests would be required to pay for it.

I know that this doesn't fix the problem of off-time enhancement, extra practices, etc. etc. etc. But I'm looking at how Utah always seems to bring it's only (or only one of a few) good games a year against BYU. Obviously, it could be any number of things, but it got me thinking of this scenario:

Team A really wants to beat its rival and does everything necessary to ensure that (free tickets to students and their friends. . .four per should be plenty), lots of hype, good practices (maybe a few "unrequired extra" practices lead by team captains), and for that extra push some "vitamins" to a few key players. Because it's just one game, if you use some of the faster-cleared substances there is a little less chance of getting caught. . .if it's just once.

Anyway, not sour grapes. . .in fact I doubt Utah would do this, just because there really are still enough good people up there that I think *someone* would blow a whistle if this were the case. But, I bet someone somewhere has figured out how to do this.

Allowing a losing team to pay for a test (or a few) would be a good step to making it feasible.
