AV receiver question
I have a receiver with the output to the tv being HDMI. Everything works fine that way. When I connect a component device, it doesn't work. I understand why, but I'm having trouble fixing it. The two devices I'm trying to hook up are the Xbox360 and the Wii. But I'm not completely sure if I'm right before going out and buying some extra cables.

1. I can fix the Xbox by using an HDMI cable. I assume I don't need an optic cable with this.

2. If I want to use component in the future for the Xbox (assuming I need the HDMI port in the future), I'd use the RBG fat cable from the Xbox to the receiver. I still need video. Do I use the yellow component cable on that fat xbox cable or an optic cable to the receiver? Now I need video to the receiver. Which cable do I use here to the t.v ... optic cable? And I assume I need to change the input on the t.v?

3. The Wii has RWY cable to the receiver. I think I need a component video out from the receiver to the tv because this is different from the optic cable for the Xbox. Is this right? And I assume it's a different input on the t.v. Also do I need to change any settings on the receiver or just the AV input?

And yes I could just forget about the Wii to the receiver and hook it up to the t.v. Any help is appreciated before I get more cables than I need. Thanks.
