I recommend the Lenovo yoga series.
I love mine. It is not my main laptop but does all that you describe. It flips to operate as an (albeit heavy) tablet.
I looked principally at the Yoga and the Surface Pro 2 and ended up with the Lenovo Yoga. It came down to whether I would use it more as a laptop or a tablet and I decided that I would use it more as a laptop. Plus it was hundreds cheaper for the 11 inch Lenovo over the Pro 2.
There are also other "dual use" laptops I would check out from Sony, Dell and others.
