your analysis is silly. Maybe a D2 school or conf USA school who can't afford to send a recruiter to utah from teh east coast won't recruit such a kid,but anyone in a BCS conference will recruit whomever they think will improove theri team. If a player can Ball, they will get recruited , especially if you tell your coach and recruiters you are seriously interested in looking at all of your options and have made no comitments to anyone.

Stanford doesn't give two cents if BYU has offered a kid or not or if a kid is LDS and active or not.
