Just the American has the tie-in but read the second sentence.  It seems like they don't have anyone specific lined up yet.  TH may be trying to work with the American on this one.

"The Miami Beach Bowl will match an American Athletic Conference team against an opponent from either Conference USA, the Sun Belt Conference or the Mid-American Conference. Institutions from other conferences across the country will also have the ability to participate. The existing contract covers six seasons, beginning in 2014."
