Both have extreme confidence and both backed up all the confidence arrogance etc. on the field with their play. Both could strap their team on their back to win games. Like McMahon, Manziel will likely have a successful NFL career. He's a winner.

Athletically, Manziel is more like Steve Young than McMahon. The guy has the greatest feet of any QB I have seen in recent years, and he is nearly as fast as Steve. His arm is strong, but he's not as great of a passer as McMahon was.

Manziel is also much more of a loudmouth off the field than McMahon, but McMahon said and did plenty of controversial things.

When I have watched Manziel I also have thought of McMahon and how similar they are as players.
