Barring a trade the Jazz's pick will be in the top 7. There is no scenario except for a trade that puts them outside of the top seven. I'm not excluding every other scenario. In fact the only scenario I excluded was the 7th pick. That is the only possible pick they could get without a trade that has lower odds than the 4th pick. The original asked if we would trade away the 4th pick for the 3rd. That led me to believe that we hadn't traded it yet for the 10th or 30th pick or whatever one you'd like to randomly throw out there. So I just mentioned it's not likely the Jazz stay in the fourth spot.
