Agents do this type of stuff all the time. Lindsey said at the press conference that the Jazz have literally not had one conversation about who the next coach is, yet within hours we were hearing about front-runners and other candidates. Either Lindsey is a bald face liar, or self-interested insiders are playing the game. I think what is happening is that these insiders are making logical connections between Lindsey and the "candidates" that have been reported and are leaking that information. I would take all of these rumors with a grain of salt.

I just read that Lindsey and his staff are in Europe doing some scouting through next week. It's funny how rumors start while the people supposedly involved are busy doing other things.
